It's official. Nakul Dhull's stint on Bigg Boss 20 is over, and he won't be walking back in. JioStar, the network behind the show, has confirmed that the wildcard contestant was evicted after his physical fight with Kushal Tanwar, better known as Gullu, and that he will not be allowed to re-enter, BizAsia reported on October 14, 2026.

That settles the question hanging over the house since Monday night. On the morning of October 14, the show had only hinted at a verdict. By the end of Episode 39, Nakul had taken off his mic and left. Some of the loudest applause came from Mahhi Vij, the housemate who had been most vocal about wanting him out.

How Bigg Boss announced the eviction

India TV reported that Nakul was evicted at midnight. Bigg Boss called every housemate into the living area and reminded them that physical violence is a serious breach of the show's rules, saying that a major rule of the house had been broken. Times Now's Episode 39 highlights said Bigg Boss announced that Nakul would have to leave because of the violence, after which he removed his mic and walked out.

The decision followed a day of pressure from inside the house. According to Times Now, housemates isolated Nakul after the fight and demanded his immediate eviction. Kanika Mann and Arishfa Khan confronted him, and Yung DSA tried to make him see his mistake. The Times of India reported that several women in the house said they did not feel safe around him.

Mahhi Vij's role, from the fight to the applause

Mahhi has been at the centre of this story from the start. In the October 13 episode, she was seen hitting Nakul on the back as housemates pulled him away from Gullu. The next day, she didn't soften. Times Now reported that Mahhi got emotional and told Nakul he could not touch her friend. When Nakul later apologised to Gullu and tried to talk things through, the Times of India said Mahhi, Aasif Khan and Yung DSA would not let the conversation happen. Mahhi said she didn't trust him and believed he might hurt Gullu again. Nakul hit back sarcastically: "Haan bharosa nahi hai, jaise main koi serial killer hoon na."

The Times of India also reported that, after the fight, Mahhi was seen boasting about having slapped Nakul on his back. When Bigg Boss announced the eviction, Mahhi, Kanika, Gullu and Aasif began clapping.

Not everyone outside the house is cheering her. On October 14, the Times of India reported that clips of Mahhi hitting Nakul were circulating on X, and some viewers were demanding that she be evicted too. Nakul didn't leave quietly. According to the Times of India, he showed his middle finger as he walked out. After he left, Kanika and Gullu were seen mocking him, and Aasif reportedly abused him. Qazi Touqeer, whose remark about Scout OP started the whole row, said, "Dekha mere thook ne kya kar diya."

Hours after his exit, Nakul posted on Instagram. Times Now reported that his story showed a photo from the house with the text "apne 2 din >>>> unke 100 din," suggesting his two days had more impact than other contestants' hundred. Times Now also said the post suggested he would not return.

Gullu's team issued a strong statement. As quoted by Times Now, they said physical violence and crossing someone's personal boundaries were "absolutely unacceptable," and questioned whether the fight had been planned. That claim is theirs alone. The show has not said anything to support it.

Love Gill becomes the new flashpoint

With Nakul gone, attention has shifted to Love Gill. Times Now reported that Aasif lost his temper at her for talking to Nakul after the fight. Love said she had seen marks on Nakul's neck. Yung DSA also clashed with Love and Scout OP for, in his view, siding with Nakul.
